LUMI (Large Unified Modern Infrastructure) is the pan-European pre-exascale supercomputer, located in CSC’s data centre in Kajaani, Finland. LUMI’s computing power is more than 550 petaflops which means 550 quintillion calculations per second.
LUMI offers GPUs, CPUs and storage capacity for researchers affiliated with an Estonian higher-education or research institute as well as for commercial users from an organization established or located in Estonia.
Up to 20% of all LUMI resources are available to industry and SMEs to support their research, development and innovation activities and to boost the competitiveness of Europe.
